The Expectation

Being a member of the Church, I am constantly told to find someone and get hitched. I learned sometime ago that we need to work on our relationship with my Heavenly Father. That relationship needs to be there before having a relationship with a spouse. While working on that relationship the Lord helps us get to know ourselves so much more. We need to know ourselves to know the kind of person we each need. While I have been on my own I have been leaning on priesthood blessings more than ever before. I appreciate those young men more than I think they will ever comprehend. I will never be willing to give up marrying a worthy priesthood holder. I understand the difference that having a worthy priesthood holder in your home can make. It changes the environment and the essence of everything they are apart of.  I hope that everyday they are working to be worthy to carry that gentle amazing power of God. I do not think that most of the young men completely understand the responsibility they took on with the priesthood. Because of the power they hold and the daily responsibility that comes with it, we expect them to be different because they are different than the young men of the world.
