Humility

Parker J Palmer said, “Humility is the only lens through which great things can be seen and once we have seen them, humility is the only posture possible.” Great men humble themselves before the Lord because they know that only through Him can they be risen above and beyond. He lets us fall so that we will be more willing to let him lift us up. Do not believe that you are better than others, Christ wasn’t proud. He was kind, and allowed others to believe what they wanted. I will never let others opinions shake my faith of what I believe to be true. Be humble when it comes to the callings given unto you. God can see everything that we are. He knows our sins and everything about us. The Lord wants us to be happy and knows that is only possible with Him. He will bring us a Temple, a place to seek refuge from the world when we need it most. He knows that as we mature and grow we will only be better and able to bring forth great things. With His help we will not be able to truly know the world around us. He helps us know what will better us, and what will destroy us.
